This little-grown genus of succulents has rosettes of fleshy leaves; basal in some species, and borne on thick stems in others. The flowers are tubular or chalice-shaped. Potting Mixture 6.

Cotyledon umbilicus Eurasia. A small plant with round, toothed leaves. Racemes of tiny, greenish-yellow flowers.
