ALOE

Aloes are mostly African plants, in many respects resembling young agaves, although certain species have tough, woody stems. As house plants, however, Aloes do produce clusters of attractive, tubular red or yellow flowers. Potting Mixture 6.

Aloe ciliatis {short description of image} Thin, white-toothed leaves about 6 inches long. Green-tipped, red flowers.
