This handsome little Australian shrub is not so widely known, as it deserves to be, although it is obtainable from many greenhouses. The small, toothed leaves are evergreen. Flowers are white or pink; either singles or carried in small clusters. As a houseplant, B. rubioides seldom exceeds 2 feet in height.

Keep the plant well watered and where it will enjoy sun for three or four hours a day. Grow in a cool room.
