GRAPE HYACINTH (Muscari)
The grape hyacinths all come from the Mediterranean region and are characterized by the spikes of blue, white, or pink flowers, which resemble small urns close to and beads from a distance. While there are a number of species in cultivation, the three listed will serve admirably as house specimens. Planting instructions are the same as for crocus. Rooting period, abut six weeks.
